Relevant Reflections ...

  

~ 2009 and 2010 are over.  Where do we stand on whatever was initiated or completed in late 2008?  Reflecting on the above passage makes me see how 2008 may have been dealing with the shock of sudden changes, which led to 2009 and the Healing Trinity, which positioned us for 2010 revelations.  What did you *learn, do or become* through the energy and experiences of the year 2010?  Do you resonate with a decade pattern?  Do you see 2011 as a *1* year of new beginnings?  *11* year of a master?  or a *4* year of stability?  Tune in to whatever works for you and use this month to *seed* the FOUNDATION of what you are building in the space that was so recently (and permanently) cleared (thanks to Pluto's on-going work in Capricorn).

  

Pluto continues its journey through Capricorn (2008-2024), adding juice and high-level power to the personal planets, activating our individual transformations. As we change what we believe to be true, reality shifts accordingly.  What we've learned so far is that ~ when major systems crash and empires crumble, your political preference, your sexual preference nor your religious preference matter ~ none of that matters because these transformations are affecting ALL LIFE.  We are ALL responsible, individually and collectively, for what we've created thus far which is actually the GOOD NEWS!! We can CREATE whatever we can visualize and invest our resources of time and energy in to. It takes only tweaking your concepts and expanding your thinking ever-so slightly for, seemingly, miraculous results.

 
Saturn in Libra (2009-2012) activating a 3D/structural re-balancing which draws our attention to how we relate to our physical and social environments.  It is a once-in-28-years chance to address these issues and it's significant that Pluto is in Capricorn, along with Jupiter in Aries (2010-2011) and Uranus in Aries (2010-2018), because this means how we function in fundamental ways on this planet ~ are *changing*.  Picture an *X* or cross *+* ... all 4 directions (Summer/Winter and Spring/Fall) are activated during this time and are especially potent when the personal planets move through Aries/Libra and Cancer/Capricorn, which happens EVERY year.

   

Pluto in Capricorn's contribution seems to facilitate permanent changes in how we, the people, relate to our chosen leaders and governments, as well as each other.  This will intensify further as we move forward, but for now, suffice it to say that at EVERY turn of the Seasons, we will all be deeply affected.  As we say goodbye to many layers of life, we turn to face the enormous (but not impossible) task of dreaming up a new structure that will better serve humanity here and now in its EVOLVED STATE.  Capricorn energy will make you tune in to your practical side.  This year's Scorpio excavation revealed a lot of deep rooted and emotional issues that we have essentially buried just to survive the trip!  But in order to go in to the new cycle *CLEAN* we must all tune-in to the primary resource of *TIME* (Saturn's domain, ruler of Capricorn).  How do you spend your time? Evolution seems to be speeding up and time is of the utmost importance right now. Capricorn will make you feel the pinch.

Are you focused on reality or fantasy?
Are you making decisions that are based in emotion or logic?
Are you working at cross-purposes with those close to you?
How are you balancing your time between home and career?
What is your definition of emotional security? financial security?

Some very tough questions are coming to the surface at this time and it is vital that you take a time out to be still and listen to Higher Self trying to direct you toward new choices.  If you are already well *ON* your chosen path, then the current energy will help you expand and go to the next level.  If you have just embarked on a brand new path, this energy will give you a chance to begin building a solid foundation.  Either way, being responsible for your Self, your world, your environment, your community, and your planet is all on the table at this time.  If you want a better community, it will require your commitment and dedication.  As you dedicate your energy, you will attract other like-minded souls to contribute their energy.  Being SELF-SUSTAINED internally and externally is becoming mandatory.  No one is going to do it for you.  Nor can anyone do it LIKE YOU.  Your contribution is *vital* to the whole, do not underestimate the power of NOW and do not shirk your responsibilities to your Self and your Community. Saturn, Capricorn's ruler, gives grand rewards for hard work, dedication and consistency.

  
There are some tough decisions and choices to make and you will have to be responsible for them whatever you decide.  The caveat of this time is that *IF* you do not CHOOSE to define your reality, your truth and purpose, it will be chosen and/or defined FOR you. This speaks directly to the Capricorn energy that if you do not define it - it will be defined for you - if you do not create a structure of your own - then you will be confined by a structure created by other/outer people or circumstances.  However, if/when you begin to reclaim your own inner authority, take responsibility for who you are and what you do, though it may be hard work, you will be rewarded accordingly.  This is a potent time of Infinite possibilities in between the old and the new.  And the planets have even given us a good 6 months to REVIEW and consciously decide how we want to move forward in this new energy, in this new era.  Take the next six months to review your reality, check all your primary relationships/support systems and begin to structure your life to support your new goals - new Truth - and your new definition of reality.

It is truly the beginning of a NEW ERA ... for all of us. Aquarius time is all about connecting to your most authentic self and unique contribution. Because of the shift you are undergoing at this time, having to be "innovative" is the least of it - there are so many major integrations that must take place in order for you to be ABLE to contribute. You are probably still clearing debris and hopefully, setting up your NEW life where your thoughts, words and deeds are more congruent with your deepest beliefs.

What makes you a unique and special individual? What do you LOVE to do? Without you and your gifts, the world is short a vital and necessary energy. You can use the current planetary support at this time to access the best of who you are while participating in a larger context; where individual meets global to collaborate and evolve. Focusing and accessing your core Self (Sun/Leo), the courageous and centered one, automatically connects you to your contribution to the whole (Aquarius/Uranus). Now you have a chance to dedicate your energy to your own potential, as fulfilling that (potential) enables you to serve humanity in some perhaps small, but significant way.
  
There are so many additional planets and energies active at this time, it seems to magnify and/or intensify everything. I cannot stress enough that this year is pivotal in setting the tone for the next 12 - 19 years of your life. Be very mindful of the seeds you plant as you will be reaping them for many years to come - so FOCUS! Avoid self-sabotage, delays and petty distractions at all cost. We have access to some powerful energy for creating an authentic life which supports the planet as well.
  
This month really try to take some time to reflect on how far you've come and all that you have accomplished and how it has fortified you. Everything has been in preparation for NOW. We are all undergoing the shifts which will allow us to be more effective players on the team we are currently creating. How is YOUR team shaping up? Are you moving in the community that best supports who you are and where your contribution is most appreciated? Notice the people who cross your path and notice synchronicities and notice how well things work when you trust that ALL is in Divine Order, no matter the appearance. Remember, 'nothing is good, nor bad, but thinking makes it so'.

NOTES ON THE CURRENT RETROGRADES ...

Retrogrades are periods of time that remind us of the natural cycles of ebb and flow, of expansion and consolidation etc. Barbara Hand Clow writes, "direct planets are electrical, and they cause energy to charge and move; retrograde planets are magnetic and draw energy in." This is an opportunity offered to you on a regular basis which teaches you when you are fully supported for magnetizing and bringing in whatever you need at that time. You stop to eat and fuel your body, you stop to fuel your motor vehicles, you stop to sleep and replenish your physical Being, why would you think Great Spirit would not give you an opportunity to revitalize your life force too?

  
Rather than looking at retrogrades as such an inconvenience, look at them as opportunities to review the areas of your life represented by the current planet and sign energies and re-vital-ize (breathe new life in to) these areas which have been depleted by recent forward movement. Hopefully, the energetic resources you've spent in supposed forward movement have been worth the sacrifice, but you will always have to stop and replenish at some point. Bless that time and opportunity and honor it by taking a time-out from forward movement to pull back, slow down or (possibly choose to) reverse altogether.

   

January/February ~ 2011

Saturn is the only one going Retrograde at this time.  On the 25th it will Retrograde in Libra as we review the foundation we've laid thus far (since July 2010).  Many aspects of life are no longer relevant or viable and while we get to review our *structure* every year when Saturn does this, at this time, it is even more important to focus on *balance* ... within your own being, as well as in your interactions with others.  Part of that is being responsible for communicating your needs, negotiating partnerships (of all kinds) and being responsible for your own success.  What's also useful to note about Saturn's Retrograde this year in particular, is that it goes backward shortly after the first of the incoming Gemini/Sag Eclipses and goes forward in June 2011 right as we are having our first full set.  After much work on the *fundamentals* of life with the Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses of the last two years, we are now shifting gears to the *NEW* ideas, concepts and beliefs which will support the *new reality* we are seeding.  There is going to be much movement by Summer, Saturn's Retrograde gives us a bit of a grace period to get things organized and stabilized before we are in truly *new* territory.

Please remember that EVERYONE is going thru some major transition and probably several minor ones. Be patient, compassionate and kind in your responses to others, they may be going thru the same transition you are but sadly, cannot articulate it so they suffer a great deal more than those of you who have a support system of some kind and any sense of acceptance of your current lessons and blessings. Rebirth is hard, and labor is unpredictable in that you never know exactly how long it will take, so LOTS of water (or ice chips - ha) and deep breaths! Remember your health is vitally important, or it really does not matter what else you have going on.
