This energy is a tough, yet powerful one. It's Highest expression would be to focus on your inner discovery and development. It enables you to look beneath the surface to some core drives and gain some valuable insights and thus, choose a plan of action based on your discovery. You will want to know all the hidden meanings behind decisions you've made or want to make soon. Dig - you will find more than you think you're ready for, but apparently the Universe thinks differently! Pay attention and try not to worry about what anyone else thinks or believes. This energy's flip-side is to make you obsess over one particular idea and try to force others to your way of thinking. That is a bottomless pit - you cannot truly change the way other people think - you can only change the way you think and hope it enlightens others along the way ... and it will, for those who are tuned in to your level. Try to only focus on you and your direction.

Sun (core identity) ~trine~ Mars (desire):
This is a powerful energy for solidifying who you are and what you are capable of. It brings out your desire to be truly self-sustained and independent, and with the good angle between Sun and Mars, makes forward movement almost effortless. If you are not clear about who you are or what your purpose is, this energy will inspire you to find out. If you are already on track and crystal clear, then this energy strongly supports progress. It is a great time for physical activities that bring you joy and get your juices flowing. You should review, with gratitude, all the goals you’ve accomplished thus far and begin deciding what you can finish up in preparation for what’s coming. You are truly being prepared for your future, use this great energy to ground that intent. |

Sun (core Self) ~oppose~ Saturn (reality):
This energy is a push-pull between who you are and who you want to be; between what you “want” to do and what you “have” to do. I always tell people, do what you “gotta do” so you can do what you “wanna do”. And it may not be the easiest path, but it’s definitely worth it for the peace of mind it brings. You may swing between extremes of fulfilling all your obligations to the neglect of your Truth and Purpose ~ OR neglecting your obligations and doing whatever you choose, which only means those obligations will BE there when you get to them and they will have most likely INCREASED by the time you do. Balance is the key! And this energy reminds us to practice “work before play”. Another expression of this energy is a sense of loneliness and isolation. Don’t indulge those thoughts too long, it’s counter-productive, a distraction and a waste of time. This too shall pass. And that’s not the point of this energy. The PERFECT thing to do at this time is to work on a project alone that is really important to you, but personal and private. Focus ~ you’re on to something solid. |

Mars (action) ~sextile~ Saturn (endurance):
This energy gives you a tremendous power booster to your drive to create stability, as you define it. You will WANT to do the work, starting with a plan that is carefully thought out and then methodically carried out. Plan and Do! Not just one or the other - Both! The rewards for your hard work, the return on your investment will reflect what energy you have put in to stabilizing your life. This energy should NOT be restrained but consciously directed. Excessive restriction (Saturn) may cause an explosion (Mars) down the line, whereas a sold base (Saturn) contains the fire (Mars) so it becomes useful as well as beautiful. |

Sun (your Source) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):
Now for the most potent of the transits for the week. You may encounter or even oppose powerful pressures and forces exerted upon you, both from without and within. The way you live and exert your energies will be tested today, perhaps forcing you to make radical changes in the areas of your life that you find are not working very well. The best way to use this influence is to let go of old patterns of behavior that recent events have demonstrated to be invalid. Holding on to them will only make your life more difficult, and if you give them up, you will have room for the positive creative changes that can take place now. In fact, one manifestation of this transit can be a powerful sense of having purged something from your life. Every one of us is being held accountable for our actions. Anything you have left undone or did poorly will come back to bite you (and demand that you do it right this time). The upside of this energy is that the parts of your life that ARE going well, will be your source of strength. Don't forget all your strengths and gifts!!

This is a great energy for being imaginative and intuitive. This is not an intellectual energy, you will have to rely on other senses, like feeling (intuition). You may be very perceptive as to what others are thinking or feeling. Try to avoid work that requires any attention to detail. Allow your creativity to flow freely without censoring what comes through you at this time. You can organize it later. This is the energy to CREATE! |

Venus (relationships) ~square~ Mars (passion):
This energy usually provokes interest in the opposite sex, primarily physical attraction. If you meet someone new under this influence, it is most likely going to be purely sexual; if you are in a happy, healthy relationship, then it is a great energy for you expressing your love in a physical way. However, if your relationship already has tension (especially in the physical realm), then this is a difficult energy to deal with and the only real solution is open communication and a willingness to compromise. This is going to be a tough one. This energy tends to make you feel touchy or irritable where communication is concerned; feeling like everyone is challenging you in one way or another. Try to step back and gain some perspective before reacting. This provokes debates and, in some people, actual fights, so be careful. If you have any repressed anger at all, you should find the safest outlet to express it - either at the gym or in a letter that you can later read and edit in a calmer state of mind. It is best to seek solitude and silence than say things you cannot take back. A milder expression of this energy is that you may have to defend your choices, ideas or beliefs to someone else. This could be a simple discussion to a heated argument. Try to keep things in perspective, and not allow the passion you may feel cloud your better judgment. If you have to present something passionately, this energy can help but don't provoke a battle where it's not necessary. Keep in mind the reverse of this is others coming at YOU in an extreme or unreasonable way (for the subject). Any accidents that occur under this influence have more to do with repressed anger issues than "bad luck" so keep an eye out for any resentments bubbling under the surface. You could attract accidents to your Self or take it out on some unsuspecting bystander without realizing that's what you are doing. This energy provokes deep delving WITHIN. You will be most inclined toward learning the meaning "behind the meaning". You will want to explore your inner Self and try to understand it better. It is best to be alone for such research. Take a day or a weekend and grab your most powerful books and music and get somewhere beautiful if you can, if not your bedroom will do just as well - and dig deep! You are finally ready for the deeper truth, and you will be transformed by what you learn. If you must communicate with others, plan on that being deep as well. Nothing superficial today. The only warning with this energy is not to become obsessive about one particular idea - and certainly don't try to force your particular opinion on others. If you feel the deep need to focus on one particular thing, that is fine but try to keep some perspective or write down all your revelations so you can reflect on them at a later time when you are more objective. |

You may find that some aspects of your life need to be reformed or released - go for it - this energy makes reform and release easier than usual. Any actions or statements used to manipulate others for selfish gain WILL backfire on you in a big way. Saturn (foundation) ~oppose~ Uranus (radical shift):
These two energies only get together every 20yrs and every 40yrs in the position they are in at this time. This is a time of ‘radically shifting’ (Uranus) your fundamental foundations (Saturn) in a push-pull dance. Watch extremes in either direction, too rigid/too radical. The point of this energy, individually and collectively, is to break you out of stagnation that is suffocating your growth and expansion on many levels, some mundane (job, marriage, long-term patterns or habits) and some on higher levels (consciousness). You will likely have an ‘aha’ moment (or several during the next two years as this aspect is activating all of us five times, over the course of 2008-2010. This is a long term cycle that takes time to truly integrate. What happens initially, is you will be blocked on some level, leading you to question your entire life, and eventually work your way around to CREATIVE SOLUTIONS to very old challenges. Don’t waste this opportunity to allow change to happen within and around you ... it is time. Honor it, go with the evolutionary flow, and consciously co-create. If you KNOW certain patterns are holding you back, then consciously commit to releasing them. If you were not happy in the work you were doing, if it was just for a paycheck and not heart-centered work, then consciously commit to figuring out what you REALLY want to contribute to society, how you - just being YOU - could best serve humanity, your community but most of all your own being. This energy will compel you to express yourself on many levels. Communication will be a focus, just make sure it is reciprocated.
