This energy tends to make you more in tune to the beauty around you and if not, it makes you daydream about the beauty and comfort you wish you were surrounded with. That's fine (daydreaming) within reason. You may also be more sensitive to the needs of others, creating a bond between you. Try to find a way to enjoy art of any kind, music, poetry, etc.

Mercury (your voice) ~trine~ Saturn (reality):
This energy is good for deep thinking. You are sharp and your standards are high because you are in 'strategy mode'. This is a more solitary energy though, so communications with others may be hampered a bit. You may feel like people don't understand what you're trying to convey or that you're coming across more negatively than you intended. This is not a good energy for business negotiations. This energy makes you most critical of your Self, but it could trickle over onto others as well. Beware of a tendency toward pessimism and/or depression. Try to stay focused on all the blessings that you do have and all that you have accomplished instead of what's still on the list of things to do (in life). This energy is not intended to make you feel bad about all the things left yet to do, but encourage you to begin the necessary steps for manifesting your dreams. This energy just makes you focus on the practical side of manifesting. Clear the debris, and begin to lay a new, clean, solid foundation beneath your goals. It sharpens your ability to see the necessary steps with an unusual acumen.

Mercury (communication) ~oppose~ Mars (anger):
This energy is a mixed blessing. If you are already imbalanced and experiencing any kind of personal famine, you may feel a deep need to be heard which (under pressure) makes you want to tell people what you really think. The problem is, whether you actually SAY anything to anyone or not, you are still giving off angry vibrations which will likely bring angry people into your realm and you could end up in an argument either way. So the only way to really control or avoid this type of combative nature (within or without) is to recognize that only the ego needs to be “heard” in this way, Spirit always only seeks peace. How has your ego been leading lately? If you are NOT already imbalanced, and you are in a strong place, feeling productive and moving forward in your life, then this is a great time to ask those you trust and who can be objective to give you some constructive criticism to help you improve your Self or your position at this time. No matter what, it is a good time to pause before speaking or acting. Any impulsive, re-active thoughts, words or deeds are likely to bring more challenges.

Sun (Self) ~conjunct~ Neptune (illusions):
This energy is known for producing two distinct effects, so watch for one or both to surface. This transit tends to make you very sensitive (rational or not) to other people. If you are one of those people who tends to put everyone else’s needs before your own, watch out, because this makes that urge even stronger. Be aware of two things: (1) most times people who focus so much on others, to the exclusion of their own needs, is because there is something about their own life they do not want to face; and (2) you could get lost in your so-called altruism to the point where you lose touch with reality. This energy is best used alone to meditate and contemplate your own world unless you can be completely detached in your charity work. I use this little motivation to decide - is your life so perfect and abundant that you can afford to spend so much time and energy on another’s life? If so, GREAT! Go for it! If not, however, then “charity begins at home” - work on YOU!

This energy deepens all emotions. Friendships and love relationships become much deeper and more intense, not to mention any physical (sexual) experience. There is nothing superficial about this energy, nor will you be satisfied with any superficial exchange, with friends or lovers. It is best to try to understand the depth of your emotions even if you are unable to express them outwardly. Your emotional intensity may be at an unusually high level, so be sure to surround yourself with people who love you unconditionally or try to be alone and just reflect on what you're feeling.

This is more Pluto (transformative) energy, and, in this case, it's where love is concerned. So things in relationships will change - hopefully for the better, but if they were not built on solid ground to begin with, they may crumble completely. Stability is not part of the equation at the moment, so prepare for inevitable change. You've probably already felt it coming, but look out, because it is here now. The natural reaction may be to try to hold on to the person or relationship, don't give in to that temptation. Let Divine Order prevail - if it is meant to be, NOTHING can keep it from evolving to the next level, but if it is NOT meant to be, it is better to release it consciously and with the knowledge in your heart that it is best for all involved. And by all means, get the lesson so you don't have to repeat it in the next relationship! |

However, if not physically, than mentally and certainly within your own area, you will take in more information per square inch than usual. Pay attention! It is said that this energy depends on your "normal mental speed" which is not the same as intelligence. If you are naturally quick mentally, this is a great energy that promotes and/or presents opportunities for you to create some interesting or stimulating communications with others. If you are not so naturally quick-minded, this energy will speed up your mental connections, strengthening your intuition. Either way, this energy is great for anything requiring originality and cleverness. You can see (intuit) with heightened awareness of the 'whole'. However, the downside to this energy is being over-sensitive and jumping to conclusions. Test your insights by analyzing them further before accepting them as truth and fact. It could also make you feel a little scattered in your thinking and you may have to consciously slow your mental pace and try to write down or actually finish each ideas as it comes to you.

Dig - you will find more than you think you're ready for, but apparently the Universe thinks differently! Pay attention and try not to worry about what anyone else thinks or believes. This energy's flip-side is to make you obsess over one particular idea and try to force others to your way of thinking. This energy is a push-pull between who you are and who you want to be; between what you “want” to do and what you “have” to do. I always tell people, do what you “gotta do” so you can do what you “wanna do”. And it may not be the easiest path, but it’s definitely worth it for the peace of mind it brings. You may swing between extremes of fulfilling all your obligations to the neglect of your Truth and Purpose ~ OR neglecting your obligations and doing whatever you choose, which only means those obligations will BE there when you get to them and they will have most likely INCREASED by the time you do. Balance is the key! And this energy reminds us to practice “work before play”. Another expression of this energy is a sense of loneliness and isolation. Don’t indulge those thoughts too long, it’s counter-productive, a distraction and a waste of time. This too shall pass. And that’s not the point of this energy. The PERFECT thing to do at this time is to work on a project alone that is really important to you, but personal and private. Focus ~ you’re on to something solid.

Now for the most potent of the transits for the week. You may encounter or even oppose powerful pressures and forces exerted upon you, both from without and within. The way you live and exert your energies will be tested today, perhaps forcing you to make radical changes in the areas of your life that you find are not working very well. The best way to use this influence is to let go of old patterns of behavior that recent events have demonstrated to be invalid. Holding on to them will only make your life more difficult, and if you give them up, you will have room for the positive creative changes that can take place now. In fact, one manifestation of this transit can be a powerful sense of having purged something from your life. Every one of us is being held accountable for our actions. Anything you have left undone or did poorly will come back to bite you (and demand that you do it right this time).
