2007 brought some major, long-term cycles to a close and this year promises to be primarily transition from the “old” you ... to the “new” you! One year is no time when you are closing out one 20 year cycle and setting the tone for a new 20 year cycle to begin. Spring cleaning is the perfect exercise at this time as the current energies are nudging you to release the past, and clear a space for new people and circumstances to come in to your life and community.

April is going to feel a bit chaotic and intense, especially for Aries/Libra folks. However, this energy will affect everyone to some degree or another, shaking you free from old paradigms which no longer serve and old beliefs which are simply no longer applicable as the world shifts.

May is going to give you some potent creative energy with which to mold and shape your new life. Taurus/Scorpio people have special access this month for creating a completely new life, as do we all. This Spring has some unusual aspects giving you extra juice and potency to purge your life, prune your garden and plant fresh seeds for your future.

June is going give you a chance to process all that is changing in your life. Several planets go backwards which prompts us to turn inward, to review things, double check details, go over your plans and prepare for future forward movement. Gemini/Sagittarius will be particularly aware of this energy.

2008 is a transition year and many of the decisions you make this year will reverberate in the years to come. As chaotic as it may feel, it is also tremendously potent and endlessly creative. I think of the quote, "One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star!"

May is the most potent for creating this year! This is the time to plant the seeds, personally and professionally, for living your Truth and freeing yourself from burdens and baggage accumulated over time. We have Saturn, which represents your definition of reality, going forward after several months of an internal reality check. In recent months, you probably discovered a few cracks in your foundation, as well as your system for living that needed to be addressed. As of May 2nd, you should be able to move forward, fortified and strong again.

Additionally, there is an opportunity that only comes around every 14 years to access a powerful energy that allows you to break out of any ‘rut’ you may be feeling. As you lighten your load, you will access a deeper faith and connection to Source which enables you to see alternatives you may not have been open to until now.

June is going to be a ‘review’ month. Several planets will go backward and push you to pull back a little to double check the details of your plan. This is not a good time to launch brand new things, but complete projects already under way and/or tend to details overlooked in the initial excitement of the launch. Personally, you will be rethinking your dreams and aspirations a bit and possibly going over territory you covered in the Fall of 2007. It is all good, this is your opportunity to further release any blockages to you being able to live your Truth in a more tangible way.

July will have you responding to life from a gut level or more emotional place. If your reality does not match your deepest desires, then more shifting and adjusting will be necessary (and is supported). However, if you have already done a lot of emotional purging and deep foundational work over the last 6+ months, then you may get a glimpse of the rewards for that hard work starting to come your way. Your core-identity is undergoing a major transformation and by all indications there will be a brand new you come 2009.

Overall, balance is always the key. Many planetary aspects indicate both expansion and consolidation. Some areas of your life you will need to pull back, consolidate and redirect your resources to be more effective. While other areas of your life, perhaps when/where you have been too narrow in your vision, will need to expand to see your purpose in the grand scheme of things. We can use all the planetary assistance there is to make the best choices possible in this changing landscape, with many aspects to this year being ‘once in a lifetime’. Do not waste your precious resources of time, energy and money on the non-essential or petty distractions. This is a powerful time to simplify and create a reality that better suits your true nature. And with everything in such energetic flux, ANYTHING is possible!

As you wind down 2008, be assured you are actually gearing up for 2009! As of the August Eclipses, we are officially in a *NEW* 18-20 year cycle. The remainder of this year will be clearing the PAST 18-20 year cycle. It is a *NEW DAY*!!

October ... is the month you will likely have the most energy for getting things done! Mars, which represents passion, action and how we use our energy, is in Scorpio, the energy of karma and creation, which will make you highly motivated to release the past and plant the seeds of your future. The deeper side of this energy is that you need to realize and acknowledge how the IN-visible ~ creates the visible. Every tangible thing you have ever created or manifested in your life started with a thought and/or an intention - both invisible yet powerful. Mars energy gets some long-term support from Saturn (structure and consolidation) and Jupiter (abundance and expansion). This is an opportunity pour your energy into stabilizing a life that is more congruent with your Truth and Purpose.

November ... is a powerful month of major and permanent change! On Election Day in the US, when we hope to move our nation in a new direction with a brighter (and more sustainable) future, Saturn, which rules structures, government and institutions, is mixing it up with Uranus, which rules radical, collective shifts and change on an epic level. The analogy of the bird hatching from the egg is best here. The "structures" have gotten too tight to contain humanity as it grows and we are now breaking free in to completely new territory where we will have to find our way with very little frame of reference as all that we've known thus far is about to change completely. These two planets only get together like this every 45 years, and the energy will be felt strongly for the next two years while we use Uranus' gift for illuminating alternatives which may seem daunting at first glance, but which will ultimately bring freedom. And Saturn reminds us that nothing worthwhile is ever without sacrifice and peace must be nurtured.

December ... is time for reflection and gratitude, where both endings and new beginnings are concerned. You must let go of that which is already on its way out of your life and prepare for the next leg of your journey. Holding on will hurt and prolong the painful process. Dig deep for your faith in goodness, remember that our Source is Infinite and all that you truly need to make it is already within you. The energies suggest that if you cultivate a small community (when two or more gather ...) that supports and nourishes you on one or many levels, you will absolutely be led to a greater vision for all involved. The key will be in accepting the things that have shifted within your essential nature. You have grown through all the experiences of the last 2-20 years, it's time to take that education and apply it in real time to see what fruit it will bear.

Overall, the last quarter of 2008 closes a cycle of biblical proportions and don't think it is just you either, this is a collective shift, awakening each of us to our individual contributions to this new (unprecedented) GLOBAL COMMUNITY. Things are shifting from quantity to QUALITY. Substance is going to be much more important than appearances going forward and values must shift accordingly. There is deep nutrient in diversity ~ there is power in unity ~ and there is something to be said for "thinking globally and acting locally". We are living at a pivotal time in Earth's HISTORY ... what small, significant piece would you like to contribute?

Happy New Year! This is going to be a year of BUILDING & PREPARING for a brand new future ... within and without. Notice I did not say “RE-building” ~ that is because this is brand new territory. We are not rebuilding anything, we are creating all things anew ... with the consciousness, experience and technology we have created or attained throughout the years. We have experienced unprecedented shifts in the last 2 to 20 to 40 to 100+ years building up toward 2012, a pivotal time in Earth’s 26,000 year cycle. At that time, several major cycles converge simultaneously, hence the intensity and rapid transformation we have been experiencing.

January 2009 ... January opens with quite a bit of Capricorn and Aquarius energy, that suggests that everyone has got responsibility and the community on their minds. Capricorn is the lesson of being responsible for your actions and doing the necessary work to make a significant contribution to society. However, ‘society’ has shifted dramatically so figuring this out is challenging, though worth the effort. You are tremendously supported if you release trying to make the ‘old ways’ work in the new era. Aquarius energy is the lesson of detachment, understanding the larger perspective and creative (unique) solutions.

That all being said, we have Saturn freshly Retrograde (pulling back/pulling inward) through Virgo, (healing, discernment and purification of the systems) supporting a serious review of your structural foundation - literally/physically as well as metaphorically, the structural foundation of your life in general. You will be continuously confronted with decisions to make and postponing them only makes them harder, so you will have better results to deliberate for some time then take decisive action to consolidate or expand wherever your reality needs it the most.

And the bonus is Mercury Retrogrades through Capricorn and Aquarius. I strongly recommend waiting till February 1st before taking any of the actions you decide upon. Use January as a review of your resources and set the tone for the year 2009 with strong, positive intentions that you are committed to seeing manifest. Mercury rules our thoughts and ideas, and when Retrograde, it is a review of those specifically. The reason this planet gives us so much trouble with technology at this time, is because we are only supposed to be communicating with Self and Spirit. That is the time to give technology a rest and give telepathy a try!

February 2009 ... Mars gets in on the action this season. Mars rules our energy, passion and desire nature and it is revving things up with transformative Pluto in January. These two planets getting together is going to intensify your Lower Will and Spirit’s Higher Will. You can use this energy to make a firm commitment to change, or have “what you want” dramatically changed for you. I suggest you set some intentions and use that creative fire to breath life in to your NEW dreams and desires. February, Mars is getting together with Jupiter, the planet of your “story”, your “truth”, expansion and abundance. Watch this one for signs of over-confidence. Use this energy to again, dig deep within your Being, and connect with your deepest desire for your life and what that deepest truth will look like, then ground your intentions.

We had a major infusion of energy last felt 1965-1967 and activated again in 1988 (40yrs) and again this year (2008-2010). It is a two year process of balancing and integrating traditional and progressive. It is time to strengthen and fortify that which IS working in society, and cut our losses with that which is NOT working in society ... all while ALLOWING expansion of thought, word and deed to create room for creative solutions and breakthroughs on all levels. There is a time when ‘protection’ turns in to ‘prison’ and it is time to inhale your own authority, be responsible for your own energy and create a life that fulfills you and serves others. This two year process (transition) will set the tone for the next 40 years (with a test in 20 years likely).

The beginning of 2009 is tremendously supported for broadening your vision, while clearing the past and grounding the foundation of your life because EXPANSION is here and you need to stabilize whatever you can. This is still considered Winter in this hemisphere, so restoration of your life force energy, replenishment of your resources, silence & solitude are all greatly encouraged, highly recommended and very well supported.

MARCH 2009 ~ Pisces/Aries
We have passed through some portals, navigated major transitions and received some serious activations in recent months. March is your opportunity to pull back a bit to PROCESS. It is the culmination of the entire zodiac and Pisces energy gives you the opportunity to tune in to your Higher Self and Great Spirit, detaching from linear reality for a while will enable you to fill in some blanks. Use this month to get creative artistically, express yourself another way and/or practice silence and meditation and see what information is revealed through your other senses.

The big action this month is Venus, planet of love, abundance, values, priorities, beauty & sustenance, spends extra time in Aries, the energy of independence, assertiveness, courage, passion, new beginnings & the warrior spirit. This is a once in 8-year opportunity to RE-INVENT Your Self, realigning with your new priorities, starting with YOU!

APRIL 2009 ~ Aries/Taurus
April is going to be challenging compared to March, so why compare? Essentially, it is going to be a month of initiation and all the excitement and anxiety that goes with new life bursting forth. You are going to have a beautiful combination of energy and stamina to get some very tough tasks done. While you may be feeling the pull of Spring, don't run off to play just yet. Pluto, planet of death, rebirth, transformation, purification and the Underworld is pulling back to give you the opportunity to check in on deeper issues of the stability, structure and foundation of your life and life's work. Pluto has just begun a 16-year cycle of revolutionary cleansing of our governmental structures, that which serves, supports and protects society as a whole. And no matter what generation you belong to, the basic structure you have known up to this point is crumbling and we will only see the beginning of the building of the New Earth. Personally, it is time to make sure your life truly reflects what is nearest and dearest to your heart. Home and work have to blend better, not be so estranged. Working for survival is not the same thing as dedicating your life and energy to something that benefits you and also serves others.

You should also make sure you are clearing and releasing the past because the upcoming months give you an unprecedented opportunity for PURE MAGIC, PERMANENT HEALING & EXPANDED VISION!!

MAY 2009 ~ Taurus/Gemini
May ushers in the magic and forward movement. Saturn has been behind the scenes helping you stabilize your physical health and the health of all the systems required for your life. It is finishing its once-in-30-years work in Virgo, the energy of trust, discernment, order, wholeness, healing and purification ... where Saturn issues are concerned, your definition of reality, the structure of your body, the structure of your life and major lessons. Reality is changing, do not resist ~ co-create!

This month, Mercury, planet of communication, thoughts, ideas & concepts, is pulling back, asking you to review things. This happens 3 times a year, normally, and this year it does it 4 times. That is a serious indication that you should be sure you are digesting all the rapid-fire changes occurring in your life and world. Take some time to process where you've been and where you're heading. Do you need to shift your thinking a bit? rework some ideas? play with new concepts? You are completely supported.

JUNE 2009 ~ Gemini/Cancer
This month, how you think and how you feel become your primary compass for navigating. We approach Summer and a time of fullness when the time, and hopefully whatever else you've created all year, is ripe for sharing and feeding others. As things around you and within you are blossoming, Jupiter, planet of Truth, justice, fairness, your story, expansion and abundance is pulling back to give you the opportunity to review your 'story of 2009' ~ is it still proceeding as you intended? Are you telling the story you want to be telling? Do you like the characters and the direction of the energy? This is your chance to 'edit' and prepare to make the necessary adjustments in the near future. This month is just for REVIEW of your 'story' to see where it aligns with your deepest Truth and belief system, helping you become congruent within and without.

JULY 2009 ~ Cancer/Leo
Summer Solstice in June initiated a major new cycle of Cancer/Capricorn energies. And July we have a second New Moon in Cancer and both are also Super Moons which is when the Moon is closer to Earth and the gravitational pull is that much stronger. It is a time to be mindful of your emotional responses to the monumental shifts going on individually and collectively. During July, many of the outer planets are Retrograde, with only Saturn in forward motion which suggests that some major healings and integrations are under way and you should be focused inward where your healing and transformation is concerned. However, Saturn rules reality, structure and form, in the sign of Virgo, the lesson of discernment and healing and that is finishing a major 2 year cycle of restructuring your body and health, as well as the foundation of your life and life's work. So while you may have some very internal processes going on this summer, also devote some time to setting intentions where this energy is concerned as well because it is preparing you for the next cycle when Saturn enters Libra. Essentially, it is getting you the individual together so that you are clear and well-prepared for its journey through Libra when it will assist in restoring balance to your relationships and collaborations, anchoring them for many years to come.

AUGUST 2009 ~ Leo/Virgo
August brings the final eclipse in the Leo/Aquarius series which has been anchoring two major cycles of 9 and 18 years. We had major closure on cycles from 1989-1991 and 1999-2001 and now have a fresh start to a new cycle. Based on the global shifts, many things are obvious now that had radically different meanings during previous cycles. Now you must anchor your self-love (Leo) and be clear about who you are so that your contribution to the community and global family (Aquarius) is that much more relevant and useful. Early August will assist in your process of balancing ego drives with humanitarian drives. Tune in to ideas and causes that are close to the heart so that once we've moved in to Virgo at the end of August whatever healing is necessary, will be clear and possible. August is about the only possible breather so take advantage of this time to play (Leo) and heal (Virgo) whenever you can. It will fortify you for the major cycles and potent energies approaching.

SEPTEMBER 2009 ~ Virgo/Libra
September is going to be intense and transformative so hopefully you gathered your strength during August. Pluto goes forward, Mercury Retrogrades and we have Act 3 (of 5) of the Saturn/Uranus opposition. All of this suggests a small window for major activations, you must have your wits about you and be clear on your desires and intent. Pluto rules death, rebirth and transformation and is in its first full year (of 16 years) in Capricorn the sign of responsibility and society. This hasn't happened since the American Revolution, and here we are again, at a similar crossroads of having outgrown the previous structures because our human family has evolved and grown exponentially. Saturn, which rules Capricorn, adds intensity to the mix and assists with the step-by-step process of building *NEW* structures that will serve society. While Uranus does its work of ensuring we do not build old over the new, but reveals completely new paradigms and new challenges which will *REQUIRE* experimental and radically creative solutions. Mercury a very quick, small planet that packs a punch because it is our thinking that guides much of this and it dips in to Libra, balance & relationships, and backs in to Virgo, healing & purification, insisting that we heal our thinking so our human life can thrive. It reminds us that *ALL IS CONNECTED*! We are connected to each other ~ we are connect to Mother Earth ~ we have *NEVER* been separated, an illusion perpetrated by the mind which leads me to my final reminder ... it's time to let your *HEART* LEAD! Your life and life's work must be heart-centered to be successful ~ everything that you are and everything that you do in this life touches all other living beings on this planet we *SHARE*.

OCTOBER 2009 ~ Libra/Scorpio
September really stirred things up and early October is going to extend the pressure to grow and change. Libra rules balance and reciprocity where your relationships are concerned and many relationship-dynamics are shifting dramatically because of the inner changes you've made in the last year or two. The assessment for the year has been underway and this month, decisions will be made (consciously or unconsciously) that will affect you for some time to come. Ultimately, if you are responsible for your own emotional and material security, secure in your sense of Self and committed to releasing relationships which no longer work and nurturing relationships which are more of a "vibrational match" for you at this time, then you will come out of this time period stronger and better positioned for moving forward. In addition to the more challenging energy of growth and transformation, you do have the unprecedented support of the Healing Trinity, which has been identifying various deep wounds in the collective, now interact with the personal planets bringing it much closer to home. Many issues have been brought in to the Light in the last year or two and now you will see the benefits of your labor and dedication to healing and wholeness.

NOVEMBER 2009 ~ Scorpio/Sagittarius
This month, Venus, planet of love, resources, values & priorities, is co-creating with two major planets, Pluto (transformation) and Saturn (stability) which means you are extremely well-supported if you have evolved and committed to honoring your new priorities. Saturn and Pluto are in a very challenging position to each other (transforming reality as we speak and this is only the first of *3* meetings scheduled over the next 6 months) so if you have NOT re-aligned your priorities, then the Universe will likely step in. Last month, Venus integrated with the Healing Trinity, this month, it is Mars' turn. With the healing of your priorities behind you, now your desires have likely shifted as well and now must reflect a renewed love of Self and willingness to heal on very deep levels. This is going to be a potent month of change which will reverberate for many years. Remember, belief systems and traditions aside, tune in to *GRATITUDE* and count your blessings as often as possible. Much has been taken from your life, perhaps, but that only clears a space for more appropriate energy to enter your life and circumstances.

DECEMBER 2009 ~ Sagittarius/Capricorn
Winter Solstice initiates the *NEW* solar year and is a Divine time to honor the fresh new beginning energy and clean slate you are offered at this time. This month, regardless of obligations, take some time whenever you can to quiet the mind, tune in to your *HEART* and set your intentions for the coming year. Saturn will be approaching its Retrograde, when it slows down, gathers energy and information as it pulls inward to do the process of reviewing the *STRUCTURE* of your current reality. And it will again tag Pluto (second of *3*), Lord of Transformation, stirring things up behind the scenes. This is the time you can initiate the work of reviewing the structure of your relationships (personal and professional) so that the final contact will yield positive results. The Capricorn energy brings your responsibilities in to the Light and gives you the opportunity to anchor or ground your Being and your intentions in tangible ways. It is also bringing Mars, which rules what you are passionate about, in to balance and accord with your renewed commitment.

JANUARY 2010 ~ Capricorn/Aquarius
This month, you have access to more clarity about your Heart-Centered Work and what Sacred Space really means to you. As the personal planets move from that energy of "new foundation" to Aquarius, you get yet another infusion of the Healing Trinity on deep personal levels. It's time for you to experiment. Think in terms of having recently dealt with some kind of limitation and now, a new *FLOW* ~ a new breath of fresh AIR is entering (Aquarius is an air sign, though the symbol of the "Water Bearer" confuses many). Capricorn is very serious, and Aquarius is very serious about authenticity and effectiveness. This month, honor the many ways you have healed and test your strength for integrating the *NEW* in to your routine. As you feel more grounded in the 'new you' ~ get out! contribute your brilliance to the community that could most benefit from your gifts and strengths. It is time! Time to improvise and experiment and see how different you are from even one year ago.
